Tylt

Tylt already had a product. What it didn't have was a brand people could trust. Over the next few months I helped shape everything around it, from the identity and website to product marketing, sales collateral and content. Today I continue working with the team as a consultant.

TL;DR

This wasn't just a branding project. It was about helping a product become a company.

My Role

What I actually did

I joined as Tylt's first marketing hire.

At an early stage, the work rarely fits neatly into one role. Some weeks I was redesigning the website. Other weeks I was rewriting product messaging, building sales decks, creating launch videos or planning LinkedIn content.

Everything fed into the same goal: helping Tylt communicate clearly and earn trust faster.

The work

Five disciplines, one connected system.

Brand

Tylt: Primary Wordmark
Tylt: Primary Wordmark

Most crypto brands lean on gradients, coins and blockchain graphics to look futuristic, which works against trust in a category that already struggles to earn it.

I built the identity around restraint instead of spectacle: simple typography, a controlled colour palette, one visual logic applied everywhere.

The identity had to hold up across the live product, a 200+ merchant network and every support channel around it, not just a logo on a slide.

Product

Tylt: Prime Order Flow Dashboard
Tylt: Prime Order Flow Dashboard

A payments product carries a lot of operational weight, order flow, disputes, merchant management, and none of it can afford to feel like a spreadsheet.

I conceptualized the web and mobile app experience with the product and UI/UX team, from the Prime dashboard merchants run their business through to the wallet app end users actually hold.

The same clarity that shaped the brand carried straight into the product, dashboards, order tracking and dispute resolution that a 200+ merchant network relies on daily.

Website

Tylt: Website Hero
Tylt: Website Hero

Stablecoin payments are genuinely complex, and the first instinct was to explain everything on the homepage at once.

I rebuilt the site around clarity in the first five seconds instead of completeness, cutting copy and reordering the page around what a buyer actually needed to know first.

Within two months of launch the site was driving 500+ daily active users and $25K in daily transaction volume.

Marketing

Tylt: Carousel Template System
Tylt: Carousel Template System

Tylt needed to become a familiar name before the first sales call, with no marketing budget behind it.

I built a LinkedIn content system and SEO rich content infrastructure, carousels, thought leadership and research backed reports, that boosted organic impressions by 5x.

LinkedIn followers grew from 500 to 1,000 in a single month, and the site pulled in 35+ qualified inbound leads organically in under two months.

Explaining how money moves across borders through stablecoins is hard to do in text alone.

I planned and produced a demo video and supporting social content that showed the product moving money instead of describing it.

Video became one of the clearest ways prospects understood what Tylt actually does, before ever speaking to sales.

Reflections

What this taught me

Trust isn't created by adding more.

It's usually created by removing things: less jargon, less decoration, less complexity. The clearer the product became, the easier it became to sell.

That's the lesson I've carried into every project since.
