Case Study · 2023 · Fintech
Basis needed social and video content that moved as fast as the team did. Over nine months I designed the campaigns and produced the video content that kept up with a fintech startup running hard.
TL;DR
This wasn't one project. It was nine months of turning fast moving ideas into design the team could actually ship.
My Role
What I actually did
Some weeks I was turning around A/B creative for a paid social test. Other weeks I was cutting a brand video or producing animated assets for a campaign that needed to move fast.
Everything fed into the same goal: giving a fast moving team design they didn't have to wait for.
The work
Social & Campaigns

Every paid test needed new creative fast, and there was no system in place to keep up with how often campaigns needed to turn around.
I built and iterated social and campaign visuals test after test, turning what we learned into the next version within days, not weeks.
A visual refresh of the social presence led to a 40% increase in Instagram engagement.
Video

Static creative wasn't always enough to carry a campaign or hold attention on social.
I produced animated assets and edited brand videos that gave campaigns and social content more life, without slowing the team down.
Video became part of the standard toolkit for campaigns, not an occasional add on, across 9 months of steady output.

Reflections
What this taught me
Turning around new creative for every paid test taught me that there's no single version that wins. It's the pattern across dozens of small iterations that tells you what actually gets attention.
Since then I default to testing more, smaller versions instead of waiting to ship one perfect one.
